Stasis brake kit installed yesterday.

Stasis brake kit installed yesterday.
Here's the fronts, utilizing 13" rotors with unique grooves, and the obvuiosly larger 4 piston calipers & stainless steel lines. We'd immediately realized once we had everything installed, that the front heat shields needed to go. Something that wasn't in the instructions.

Another shot of the fronts, notice the lettering on the caliper & how closely it matches the car!

And the rears. These use the stock caliper, mounted on an adapter plate that moves it out & away enough for the larger 12" rotor. Modifications to the parking brake bracket were simple to understand, and took about 20 minutes to do.Rears also included braided lines, and the whole system got Dot 4 fluid flushed through it once we were tight.

Initial bedding of the pads, and put it back on the lift to check the lines for leaks, fit, etc. Impressive kit, Congrats to the owner!

I was actually just trying to figure that out....
Haven't had any luck yet. Anyone care to answer that? I found the website.....

http://www.stasisengineering.com/braking.shtml

Re: Stasis brake kit installed yesterday.
What pads did you go with? How long did fronts nad back take? Did you get color options on calipers? And most importantly, curious about why the Alcon decision over UUC, Brembo and others. I'm about to pull the trigger myself on a brake upgrade, leaning strongly toward the new Alcon monobock.

SCREETCH!!! Use them brakes there! STOP! Whoah! :-D
Not my car. I dig the Stasis kit, don't misunderstand, and it worked well, installed easily, and impressed. I believe they were pagid pads also. I have no idea on the color options, or why the cars owner chose this kit over the others. I'm also still pretty clueless in regards to the exact cost of the kit, I'd guess below $3000?
I'll be getting the $5300 6 caliper stoptech kit for my A4(yes, A4), which has already been ordered. I realize this kit is much more $ than the Stasis, but It's the only kit I've seen that uses a matching set of calipers around the vehicle. Plus, stoptech uses larger (piston diameters) calipers in the 4 wheel kit than if you only get the front kit. Reason being, the rears are obviously providing more braking, and the fronts can be further increased.
I've got 993 brembos and S4 rears on my racecar, and that setup works great. I do know, however, that brembos have been outperformed by stoptechs by .....Istook? Stasis? Forgot who exactly, but they melted the pistons to the calipers with the brembos, swapped brakes, ran the same course with stoptechs, and they were fine. Not that we'll be using our brakes like that, but I want the best.
