Default I don't think it's a problem, just an annoyance. Let's hope!

I can't make it down there next weekend-- family commitments. Damned family!

Default I *think* I have the same problem

I've had a rattling sound from the right rear area since installing the ohlins. I thought about cutting some plastic to fit between the spring and metal perch on the shock. Don't the factory springs sit on rubber or plastic? With the car lowered the rear shocks aren't pre-tensioned.

The strange thing is after raising my ride height there is always spring tension, even with the car on a lift. There should be no way for my rear springs to rattle.

Default haha.. man! i really wanted to meet you and your car! Theres a two day autocross that my friends are

doing. Its on the weekend of the car show and they want me to do it. I want to do it, but i really want to go to this car show... im kind of stuck... And isnt autocross the type of track that youre in 1st and 2nd gear the whole time? That just doesnt seem like fun to me. A full track (like the event you will be doing tomorrow) would be awesome! What time is it at? Maybe ill meet you there and watch.

Do you have an aftermarket rear sway bar?

Default 8:30 am - ~4:30.

My car has yet to make it through an event. 1st time I blew a turbo, last time had noise coming from the front right wheel area... never figured it out.

I know spectators are welcome, but getting into the infield requires everything to come to a standstill, so it'd be best to be there before 8:30 or around noon when we break for lunch...

I'll email you my cell # so you can call when you get to the gate, if need be.

I don't think they're rattling up and down, but side to side.

Default I also have a rattle, clunking from the rear of the car

I lubed up the bushings well, and after driving for a while the clunking goes away. It must be from my 22mm sway bar because it was absent before that. I don't know if this is the same problem you're experiencing of course, but does it go away after the car warms up?

Oh yeah, only happens over rough roads/bumps.

OK, think some thin plastic might help keep them in place?
