Default StaSIS-Vortrag fixed height suspension question....

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/10015/stasis_suspension_spring_perch.jpg">

If you look at the pics, you will see the the OEM lower spring perch is resting on top of a silver metal bushing. The silver bushing is then resting on top of a small metal circlip that fits into a pre-determind groove.

Does anyone know anything about these silver metal bushings? How to get? Anyone have any laying around?

I need two of these to finish the suspension install on my S4.

I've e-mailed StaSIS on this, but will have to wait a day or two for them to get back to me.....just wanted to ask the S4 crowd about this so I can move forward on my projsct here.... : )

Default These are for the old Koni's.

I believe the pn for the shock was 82-2449Sport.

It come with the shock.
Contact Koni directly if you only need that one piece.
Keep in mind though, that those shocks are for the A4. Since those were released Koni has introduced an S4 specific shock with firmer damping.

You might consider getting those instead of using the old A4 Koni's.

Default The Koni's I've got are the S4 specific ones....

Hey, thanks for the reply....

StaSIS revalved them not too long ago. they even put on the rebound rate adjustment tab on the dampers.... : )

I bought this set used, but rebuilt by StaSIS. I believe that I simply didn't get that silver metal collar bushing part.

Thanks for your suggestions....

: )
