Here's my crazy idea...take the Nav system (or the MMI system) from a 2005 or 2006 S4 and put it in my 2000 S4.

Anyone tried this or have any clue if this will fit?
I really want a NAV system (and even more so Sirius radio) but I want it to look as stock as possible.

what do you think...any chance of me pulling this off? and if so, where do you think I could buy a stock MMI unit?

I got it in my car along with others, works perfectly besides the time. Color is an ok match and only have to do a little sanding to get it to fit.

i got it from ebay about 1650 total (unit, harness, dvd map, and software upgrade cd). i also got the euro unit so i have no clue what pricing is for the US.
