strange noise at shutoff?

Default strange noise at shutoff?
On my brand new avant 6 speed, when I turn the engine off I hear a strange single clunking sound from the front of the engine compartment, not too loud or dramatic. I'm not referring to the ticking of the exhaust as it cools down. It doesn't happen every time, & the car isn't even broken in yet, so I'm not pushing it... Is this noise normal?

Default If it only happens for a second right after you shut it off...
then its normal. That is the cam chain.
