stupid question: do i have to remove the rotors to remove the front rotor dirt shields?

yes.. i think 3 torkx screws hold it in place ..i just bent mine in

Default Those arent dirt shields...they are splash guards...

If you drive where it rains a lot...you will regret removing those...if you drive only occasionally in the heavy rain, you will be fine.

either way, i am probably going to remove them for summer.

probably swap 'em back in when i put the m+s' back on.

to be right though, you should cover the ABS sensor with some heat wrap (mine aren't though)...
