Sumitomo HTR-Z II Tires...
When I upgraded to my 18" MAK wheels, I chose theses tires...What a difference!!!!! They are such an incredible value...a much smoother ride than the OEM Pirelli P6000's and better performers too. And they're cheap....Just an FYI.....

I couldn't agree with you more. I have put about 5k on mine including some laps at road america. Wow!!! They are also awesome in the rain. No ride or sound sacrifice. Saw a great article in europian car a couple months ago about them.

Did you know that they have essentially the same tread pattern
as the Dunlop SP8000s (I'm not sure on the model name, just that it's the top of the line dunlop tires)? Sumitoma owns Dunlop, or the other way around, so there is no issue of patent infringement... you get essentially the same tire for literally half the price. I think the only difference is that they are made out of slightly less sticky material, which also means they last longer. Best bang for the buck in my book.
