Summer Tire Suggestion: I Searched the archives and this is what I got...
I have OZ SLs 18x8, so I need 225/40
From Search Archives
SO3s: Great Tire, good wet/dry, noisy, stiff sidewalls, short life
T1s: Quiet, soft sidewalls, good dry/wet, short life
BFG KDW: good dry/wet, stiff sidewalls, short life
Dunlop SP9000 or 9090: stiff sidewalls, good dry/wet, good treadlife, not a performance tire
Some people swear by their dunlops and only use that brand
Pirelli PZero Nero: Almost as good as SO3
Overall, I am looking for a summer tire that is low on noise, has stiff sidewalls, good treadlife, and is good dry/wet. Is there a tire out there, or am I asking for too much?
I have had Dunlop SP8000 and and Kumho Ecsta 712s, but I want a more high end Max Performance Summer tire for <$200, so Pilot Sports are out.
