i picked up this guy. works much better than the small ones
and much less time consuming. you'll understand when you try it

Nice. Where did you get the shifter boot (and ****)? Also, how do you like the Avic D3?
I'm curious about the bluetooth with it and the iPhone... trying to hold off the urge to get one.

I'm not the original owner,but I think he got the shifter boot from ECS
I have the AVIC-D1 (1st gen), I like it but the iPod interface sucks, it's slow. Now I have seen the AVIC-D3 in my friend's S4, it's nice, the iPod interface is much faster and easier / friendlier to use. He hasn't test the Bluetooth yet, he will this weekend. I'm thinking about replacing my AVIC-D1 with a D3 for the iPod interface, the changing color and the Bluetooth. Navigation is pretty much the same on both units, the Sirius display is better on the D3, you get more info.
