Default Sway Bar installation question:

I was using the 5mm allen to hold the stud steady and the whole thing just spins. I have taken the nut about half way off but the stud just spins now.

What is the part that it connects to and is it shot?

I think you may have broken the stud.

Default I had CPP links. They suck. Get OEM metal links. I don't think you have a broken stud either -

it's a ball joint on the other end of it so it's supposed to spin. Hold the stud with needle-nosed vice grips - then the lock-nut will unscrew.

Default I just ordered them. I finally got the sway bar off, I'm not sure if I can get it back on though.

What if I can't get the new sway bar on due to the sway bar links, can I drive it 30 miles roundtrip until my new sway bar links come in?
