TB Hose ideas
A buddy of mine has a 2002 S4 and I love the d@mn thing so much, I have already told him that I will be buying it off of him when he is done with it. LOL
Anyways, onto the reason I am posting. He developed another crack in his Throttle body hose and he wants something a little more durable than the OE rubber... any suggestions?

I was just actually thinking something afternarket, but I know my buddy doesn't want it to stand out like a lot of aftermarket do (it's just a hose, nothing special)
How about this?

You think that would last longer than OEM?

I'd go with this option if you wanted to stay cheap.

Better price and 034 is a well respected company within the Audi tuner realm.

Well, price isn't the biggest of deals. I will check that site out that you posted.
Since he is having issues with the hose cracking, and the Mishimoto has a lifetime warranty, it just seems that my buddy would have to buy one and be done with it (forever).
We'll see how it works out. Again, thanks for the link!

Personally, I like the APR bipipe. Install it once and you never have to worry about the TBB again. Costs more and is a tougher install than the hose swap but well worth it for the peace of mind, IMO.

I'm not sure how yuou could have heard a lot of "bad stuff" on 4/30. After talking with Mishimoto, Pat (the rep I spoke to) said that they just released the product on 4/28/10. Are we talking about the same thing?
