Was it a bad launch? I can't make out **** except for the yokel swinging at each other.
What are the specs on the rx7? I know you can do some wicked **** to those cars, so if it was a fair race then why the frigging ape drama?

The RS6 had to give the RX7 the break aka the move, jump, scoot, etc. The RS6 didn't have that great a reaction time and wound up snoozing a bit at the line. I don't think it would have mattered since the RX7 won by a good 4-5 cars at the finish line.
The RX7 has an LS1 swap and is rumored to be supercharged. It has full MT slicks with skinnies on front. The driver is about 120lbs dripping wet and he also did a bit of weight reduction like remove the passenger seat, lightweight battery, etc. The car moves pretty good. I'd say it's a mid to high 11 second car. We offered him 2 cars and the break against the blue S4 but they wouldn't do it, saying they were not yet "ready" to run the S4.
As for the fight, it all started when a group of kids who were either drunk and/or high came into the lot a half hour or so after the race. They were talking about racing their SL550 but I knew they were full of **** because they were drunk and the car wasn't even there. So at that point I left only to find out later that one of the kids on the RX7's team got into a fight with one of the kids who was drunk or high. It was all pretty lame.
