Tensioner help PLEASE!!!!
I noticed my 2.7 was making a strange noise when I would first start it for about the first two minutes I could hear the pulleys. So I popped my hood to see tiny shards of rubber on the top of my engine. I looked down to see that my tensioner pulley had sort of moved up and to the left and was causing the belt to rub against itself on the underside where the belt goes from the main pulley to the alternator. I still have full tension in the belt but it is slowly wearing it away, I need to fix it now but am wondering if I need a new tensioner or if it just somehow moved????

I would replace the belt and tensioner mine failed after 13k mile and you can pick up the parts at AutoZone. If you look at Quattro World there is a post about replacing it, mine took about 2 hrs.
