Testing 1 2 3
I need some advice before I start shooting my mouth off to my neighbors. We are all friends and more importantly car enthusiasts. Both are BMW drivers and they compliment me all the time on my new S4. Iam going karting with them on some local highways tonite, I had the dealer installed chip placed in my S4 which gives it a little more jump, I guess 270hp. My one neighbor has a 2000 540i sport and the other a 01 M3 convertible. Should I feel more challenged by the 540 sport then the M3 convertible because they are supposedly very heavy. Do I have it wrong? I am really not up to date with both of these cars and how will I stack up? Its all in good fun, please advise with some facts, stats, weights of the cars. Facts only, I guess I am checking my ego at the door with you guys first. Thanks again.

Confidence is everything my friend. Your car is twice as fast as the 540i but the M3 can give you..
a run for the money. Just remember torque is your friend .and may the force be with you.

a stock 540 sport will take a stock s4 TIP and be REALLY close with a stock 6 speed, my bro in law
has a 540 a we have run many o times. I am "enhanced" now and still have to work to out any distance on him at any speed.
