is there a a4turbo user here, did you get beat by a contour? here the story
this is from someone else froma different forum.
"Evey wednesday night the NY/NJ guys get together out in Oceanside, LI to hang and show our cars so this past wednesday night we had about 8 or 9 SVT's there.
Well this kid with a 2000 A4 turbo license plate said A4TURBO well he asked who wanted to race so everyone looked at me because i'm the crazy one (i guess) he said he had a stage 2 setup intake chip and some other stuff well when he told me this i didn't really want to lose so i didn't take his challenge plus i had a full tank of gas
BUT when he told me ha had a ATX i said OK I"LL RACE so me Dave andrews, the Great one and Playaprez went out and the A4 followed cruising on this strip waiting for a light he rolls up next to me and said do it now from 30 mph i think it was so i said sure i dropped to 2 and hit it i heard his turbo spool up and i was OUT even chirped going into 3rd first time that has ever happened i pulled hard on him.
finally we catch a light and he says to me i think your gonna beat me well whatever we'll see so it's me Playaprez and the A4 i can hear him and see the car starting to raise up th boost and i'm saying ok NO wheelspin feather the clutch because if i drop the clutch he'll take me and i wasn't sure about beating him,
GREEN LIGHT jump out little bit of tire spin nothing too drastic immediately here his turbo and i'm like **** this is where he passes me but i get out good and i'm in 2nd gear and have him by a half a car as i top out 2nd its a car and a half hit third and he shuts down, RACE OVER that was an EASY KILL.
Like i said there were enough CEG's to back my story.

that part is wrong..
performance mods include:
bailey valve, APR stage I chip, GIAC tipchip, Pirelli PZeros..
everything else is stock...
maybe A4Turbo was being stupid again and lying to
try and get a Contour to race him? He already
told me about it... and he won against one of
the Contours.
