below the intake?
I remember reading that the intake mani is cool to the touch with the spacers, so then if so, what would be the point of the coating?
There wouldnt be that much heat radiating off anyways right?
Also I know many people polish the intake ..but I was wondering, is there an advantage to the rough inside, isnt it on purpose to sort of tumble the air so it mixes better with the fuel?

not worth coating IMO...
rough-ish inside has nothing to do with air tumble to mix with fuel. A "well performed" polish may provided some minor air flow gains. A poorly done one will do the opposite

im going to try a lot of coatings from techlinecoatings.com
its just spray on with spray gun, and cure in an oven. cant be too hard to apply. apparently a lot of shops just use this and rebrand it.
im gonna leave important stuff like pistons and valves and combustion chamber to the pros ... and do exhaust mani, dp, anything easy

Has anyone ever tried coating an intercooler w/ heat dispersant?
If the coating didn't disrupt the airflow through the IC too much, seems like there would be some benefit to coating at least the end tanks.
