Is there any way to make the "Brake pad wear" light come on early ?

My pads are low, and my dealer will only change them if the light is on?
I have a Vag...any ideas?

Hmmm, remove brake pads & grind them down on a bench grinder?

You could drill out the sensor in the pad, but the tech will notice once it is pulled.

If I need to do that, then I might as well change them myself.

Perform the pad bedding procedure. You should be able to wear out the pads and rotors with one tank

of gas. Remember: DRIVE HARD!!!
