Is there a difference between ASP stabilizer and AWE DTS?

I'll probably end up buying ASP's FMIC but bought two DTS's from AWE, on principle
I don't know the details, and probably never will, but it seems ASP did an outright copy of AWE's DTS. I'm sure AWE didn't have a patent so it was legal.. but not very nice. That's why I paid slightly more to buy one, then a second one from AWE, after I hit something on the road.
If I decide to buy ASP's new FMIC, I'll get it from them instead of waiting for someone to buy one and start selling copies. I would rather pay more and buy something from the person who put time & effort into the design.
Now, when will ASP put out some hard data on the FMIC! Pretty soon summer will be over and I might as well wait for next summer.

Haven't been reading much in the past couple weeks... just here and there.
Everytime I go into AWE I get awesome service from the crew.
Sometimes labor is slightly longer than quoted, but all in all, I think they are great.
Never said they were better than ASP... I've never even been to ASP. I live just 5 mins from AWE so it's easy.
I will need to go to ASP for my next big mod, but I aint got no dough... : (
