Default No, 2001-2001.5 was the change over. But at a certain VIN #. However you can get a TIP manifold and

it's updated through all the years, and with no modification.

I thought the TIP manifold and 6speed manifold was the same

Default No...the TIP I believe was run all years and has the plugs in the back for..

plug and play for earlier models of the 2000-2001 to update and delete the F-hose and other little vacuum hoses. The fuel rail also changed a little bit where the t-line is where the DV's vacuum hose hooks up (old is hose to plastic T, new is solid fuel rail up to T). The updated 6 spd. manifold takes some modification to make it work on the older 2000-2001's to plug in all the hoses. I'm not sure EXACTLY what...The main purpose of updating is though for deletion of F-hose and the intake runners are longer and have better flow. Email Piggie and he can give you more definate explanation...
