Is there a solution for rear diff crashes on hard launches?

Two options...
(1) Stiffen the rear diff mount. I did this using cut up urethane bushings wedged in it to dampen the movement. Worked great but transmitted additional vibration to the cabin.
(2) Replace the rear diff mount. I had this done under warranty when I was unhappy with the vibration from fix #1 and it has been fine since.
If it becomes a problem again, I'll look into less intrusive methods of repair.

Any idea what the typical lifespan of the rear diff mount is?
Car only has about 50k on it right now. If I replace the mount now and keep on abusing it, any idea when I'll have to replace it next?
Also, how much of a PITA is this to replace?
