Default Are these symptoms of a bad tie rod?

I just got my 00 S4 a week ago.

I notice at high speeds the car shakes. It isn't constant which leads me to believe it isn't an unbalanced wheel(s).

Also, when I go over any small sharp bumps in the road I can hear the drivers side suspension click as if something is loose.

Are these the signs I need a new tie rod?

Default How many miles, it seems, for the A6 between 52k and 70k this is a common problem

Had mine changed a month ago at ~64k, Bushings were pretty bad.
If your extended warranty wont cover or you do not have one, I think ECS has a complete kit for around 450-470 ???
