Default These are your brake pads. These are your brake pads on track. Any questions?

Stock front pads after 11K miles and 3 days on track (2 of the days were at TWS which is fairly brake friendly and 1 at Motorsport Ranch). Notice the nice chunks missing around the edges. Pics don't show it, but they are down to about 1/3 of the pad remaining.

Swapped them out for EBCs today. Still didn't fix the problems I'm having: https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/557559.phtml

Default which EBC pads did you try?

I was pretty disappointed with the EBC redstuff pads I tried on my E30 BMW; they lasted a total of three sessions, e.g. about 75 minutes of track driving.

I don't think they tolerate heat buildup very well.

I've had much better results with Performance Friction (PF90).

Default EBC green stuff...

I'm going to use them as my street pads.

Still looking for a good race pad that will fit the front stock S4 calipers. I think there are fitment issues with some of the current products.

Any thoughts?

Default Shoot, I can make Pagid Oranges look even worse than that...

Depending on how hard you drive at the track, you may need to go even more aggressive than Oranges!

Sounds like brake upgrades are in order - are Stoptechs the way to go or 996?
