Thinking about doing A8 rear brake conversion. Need opinions from those with the install.

Given a front BBK (332), does the upgrade cause the bias to cut the rear loose?
Impressions from the track?
Issues with rotor life?
Let me know...............
Thanks in advance.

I run the S8 rears....
I can't comment on longevity since they have only been on the car since ~March.
I have done a track event and the car was very stable. The surface was quite slick--in fact it snowed.
On the street, the rears were a little touchy at first, but seem to have settled down. The feel is that the front and rear ABS comes in at close to the same time. No issues so far. If I had an ECS kit or another kit that increased the rear bias, I wouldn't have done it. But since my BBK moved the bias forward a little, I went with bigger rotors to balance braking.
If I could do it again.....
If my rear rotors were fine, I would just used more aggressive pads on the rear and saved the time and money.
If I needed to replace the rear rotors, ~$320 for the complete S8 rear setup vs $170 for stock rotors wasn't too much of an increase given the ability to run milder rear pads.

Here...This is part of the thread I wrote after the install.
Note in my original post, I commented on the tail being a little happy. That has disappeared completely. But I have different front pads now, so that may be a factor as well.

clicky clicky
