Default Thinking about trading the S4 for the R32...

Is anybody thinking about the same thing? The new VW R32 Golf is going to be a little pocket rocket with AWD which is perfect for me in Tahoe. I am just afraid I will miss the turbos of my S4.

Maybe I might be able to convince the wife to trade in her A4 and then I can keep the S4. In any case, I want a R32!!!!

I guess, I've just never been a VW fan.

Default Build quality is a lot better than it used to be...very close to Audi these days...

I love having the same engine in my GTI that I had in my heavy A4 with 30 extra HP. Do I miss quattrro? Sure. Do I absolutely need it? No. The R32 is a nice car, but it is a bit pricey compared to what you can get in a new A4 or a used S4. I'll stick with my GTI for now.

Default actually...

i think in reality i will end up keeping the S4 and probably trading in the A4 + ca$h for a new R32. the main reason being the fun factor and that my wife thinks the R32 is "cute" and likes the VW free-spirited attitude. she has always felt the Audi was a little too "snobby" for her.
