Thinking of getting another SSR Comp 17by8.5 as a spare for my avant - It's 1" too tall - (MORE)

But have ya tried to stuff an 8.5 inch wheel in there? How bad is it? I hate that little spare.

I tried putting an 8.5" wide wheel in my sedan, the floor bulged up in the middle.

Was it a big, bad bulge? or a "It sucks a little but I'll live with it kind of bulge?"

Fairly annoying...

I really couldn't put stuff on the load floor, the center was sticking up and the sides kind of just 'hung' there.
