Default For those with H&R Streets on S4 sedans: go with Avant or Sedan coilovers?

I've noticed that the rear is stiffer on the Avant coilovers, but would that adversely affect ride quality if they are put on a sedan? I'm not planning on tracking the car, just want better cornering in the twisties...

Default i don't think there is a difference ..

i have a co. set that came from an avant and when i looked at the part numbers i didn't see anything specific to sedan or avant.
i may be wrong though.

I think the Avant has higher spring rate in the rear (475 vs. 450).

Default Different part number...

Don't remember exactly what the part number is...but its different. I had Avant specific H&R coilovers on my S4 Avant.

My recommendation is to try the Avant ones on the sedan...

Default Avant kit. Rear spring is 475 vs the 450 that the sedan comes with... helps to have

higher spring rates in the rear, having run two Stasis kits like that prior.

Default I would go with the avant. Stasis based their suspension setup that way. I had an avant HR spring

on and it handles pretty good. after adding the rear sway, I could really feel the difference. Very tight and crisp.
