it's like 3" down to 2 1/8" (stock), then most exhausts are 2 1/8" up to 2.5
someone had a picture of how poor this looks as it gets skinny then fat again.
AWE and APR have addressed this issue with their DP/Exhaust combos, by eliminating the need to maintain that stock diameter restriction where the DP's meet the Exhaust.
