In all fairness, I put these wheels over S4Lynx's Gen I Stoptechs and they barely cleared (<1mm). These are Gen II's. STOPTECH of all people should be telling people they have better clearance (~4mm). I asked them about this fitment, they said they didn't know and to call TireRack. TireRack said "No way".
The only problem is the hats are so much thicker than stock rotors that I actually RUBBED for the first time, and these fenders are rolled. Certainly won't be squeezing 235s in there.

Default TPIWWoP!!!

How come your rotor hats are different? I love the 5x100 cast into your SSRs! What size are they?

Default Yeah I never noticed the 5x100...that's kinda scary, but hey it fits!

18x8.5

Dunno about the hats? maybe they differ between 355 and 332?

Default Wait a frickin' minute.....

Looks like you stole my car too! ;P (See sig + pic poster...)

I'll be damned; everyone always said those wouldn't fit, and I believed 'em....I know I'm jumping in way late, but let me make sure I understand what you're running:

- 18x8.5" RCs, ET 32?
- Stoptech 332mm kit, with fresh pads/rotors/etc?
- What tires? Not that it matters, since I'm on stock suspension, but my S03s run pretty darned wide, even in 225.

Hmm, if this is right, I may have to revisit my upgrade plans. The wife ain't gonna be happy... =P

Default I emailed back & forth a few times with R1eater...

and he INSISTED he is using this setup w/o wheel spacers. Josh/Actuning said it wouldn't fit, TireRack said it wouldn't fit, even StopTech said it wouldn't fit. Check my picposter, it fits. I have 4mm axial clearance. For the record my wheels are BBS RC 18x8.5 ET32. These are the Gen II calipers and are different than the Gen I's. I put these wheels over Gen I's and it WAS tight. I got a 0.9mm feeler gauge in there. But I think that's what R1eater is running.
My only concern is that the rotor hats are so much thicker than stock that the front wheels are in fact kicked out more. I need to put my calipers to both, but I'd say it's easily 4mm thicker. These RCs are both wide and shallow-offset, so I am rubbing (Yokohama ES100) every once in a while, on rolled fenders.
