Time to play "NAME THAT DV!"

I met up with NigelS4 for a pint and he asked to look under the hood. First question was "Who's DV are those?"
"Bailey" I answer confidently.
"Uh, no. I have Bailey and those are not." Nigel corrected.
I was told by the guy I got mine from they were Bailey and wasn't convinced. Sure enough, his look nothing like mine and have the mfg printed clearly on them. He believes mine are Hyperboost, but I thought I would call on the collective wisdom of the list and have a little fun. So anyway... what kind are they?

Those are Hyperboost "Adjustable" valves...
Bob from Stratmosphere makes some goofy claims about these, from time to time. I guess they work as well as any other piston type valve. As others have said, 710Ns are probably a better bet at something like $25 each.
I happen to have Forge "A-Line" valves, which are diaphragm type valves that work pretty well, and include replaceable diaphragms.
When it comes down to it, 710Ns just work.

Hyperboost Valves (Scroll Down to the Adjustable One)

Bummer. I got them because Bailey seemed to be a good valve. Robbed!!
So what makes them bad? Is it just a maintenance thing? I plan to lube the o-rings every 6 months...
