Time to replace battery. Odyssey 680 or 925? I live in California...

My hold-down is meant to be temporary. The battery will go in the back of the car after this winter.

As to which battery to use, that will depend on your car and driving patterns. Some have had problems with the PC680. So far, mine has been fine. Do a search and you'll find lots of discussion of this topic.

MUCH better battery than an optima is the dual pro series. Awesome guarantee, more power, etc
I have used these in my motorhomes and cars for years.
I had one defective (out of maybe 10) about two years in. Called them, they asked what model, and without providing a receipt or any proof other than "Uh, I bought your battery and it broke", they send me a new one second day air and told me to dispose of the old how I chose.
Awesome customer service and and batteries.

925 since your not relocating it! 680 will barely hold a charge after being parked for just over a
week. It's an okay battery and a great choice if you track or the extra 30lbs+ is something you can't have

you know all the cables to run it to the back of teh car will put you back at stock weight?
then there will be almost no advantage what-so-ever. I strongly do not reccomend that. Waste of money/time and kills the weight savings.

Woah. Wait a minute. Yes, no advantage in the 1/4 mile, but that might not be what he is shooting
for.
Moving 75lbs from front to rear is akin to a 150lbs change.
150lbs to the rear of a 3500lbs car is about a 4% shift in weight distribution.
Worth all the effort for track work and handling.
