How much higher do you want to go? It usually shifts right before/at redline at 7k.

Default It shifts at that point for a reason...

From my experience my car doesn't pull as hard above 6500 anyway. Usually if I'm racing a car in tip mode I'll actually shift something like...
1st gear redline(whatever it shifts at for you)and shift around 6500 for the rest of the gears. I've noticed that cars I race frequently that are closely matched up with my car, I usually have to shift at those points(early) to make sure they dont start to walk me. Once I feel as tho I'm loosing my pull and they start to gain some ground I shift and start to pull on them. If I leave it in Drive mode and let it shift for me at redline I'll lose ground at high RPM. So from my experience, raising you shifting rpm isn't gonna help.

What I dislike about my TIP in my 2001 S4 is that it shifts to 5th gear while doing 35mph. Then when I need to step on it, the car lags until it downshifts. This is very annoying to me. I don't care about the gas milage. I want to car to stay in 3rd gear at 35mph and not shift to 4th and 5th.

Can this be reprogramed?

Default Well if i can get it to shift a little bit higher than what it already is shifting at..

In the next gear I wouldnt have to start as low in the powerband and climb back up. But i guess us tips do have diffrent gearing than 6 speeds for a reason. Thanks for thehelp guys
