Default Tire Pressure for autocrossing Falken Azenis RT615's..

Last time I was running 45lbs in the front and 38 in the rear. Sidewall on fronts was wearing still, the rears were not wearing at all. 51psi is max. Seemed to have a lot of understeer and pushing in the front. Any suggestions? Should I put the fronts to the max? Thanks. Have to go now but will check back later.

Default There's more to tire pressure than keeping an eye on outer shoulder wear.

Sounds to me like you need more camber. I would think setting the fronts to 51 psi would lessen your contact patch, thereby increasing understeer.
How's the balance of your car in a turn?

Default I'm currently running RT-615's on my A4 for Auto-X...(read inside)

Granted...the A4 is a couple hundred pounds lighter up front than the S...but it's the same concept. I run 36-38lbs in the front depending on track temp...and 38-40lbs in the rear..again...depending on track temp. ALWAYS keeping the rear pressures higher than the front by about 2-lbs..this exact number will vary depending on your suspension setup. 2-lbs differential works for me with my H&R/Bilstein/H-Sport setup. In terms of my competitiveness...the car isn't exactly slow. I'm typically able to be the "top dog" in my G Prepared class of all the street tire runners, and able to *just* out-pace anything on R-Comps in class unless it's a VERY well driven Mini-S.

Default that changes things slightly. I'd say 39F 41R as a starting point???

They've got a fairly stiff sidewall...which is why my pressures running 17's aren't THAT much higher than street pressures.

Default Yeah, I definitely need an alignment...

Car pulls a bit to the right. Doesn't feel real stable in long winding turns, such as exit ramps. I'm also sitting over a half inch lower in the front, which gives me a slight jacked up look. Long story, but Vogtlands didn't compensate for the fact that a tip is 100 lbs heavier than the manuals in front.
