Default which tires have a curved sidewall?

I have heard the falken grb451's are pretty curved. What I mean is the tread width, when compared to the tire width. A euro look for a tire. I need a tire that has these characterisitcs to clear my setup, while also having good performance.
I would get 18's with either a 35 or 40 series to narrow it down a bit.

Default Depends on the driver

They should last you two full weekends if you're at non-abrasive tracks. Where are your events, Streets of Willow?

I honestly don't know how they react to heat cycles. Hoosiers are a better tire, but will fall off after ~8 heat cycles.

I want to buy these, just read a good article. Will they last for daily driving?

Default What about the rain? Do the tires need to heat up before they will stick? What is the ...

best performing tire that is great for street/strip racing with good all weather daily driving capabilities that won't wear out in 10k miles?

I know .... I'm asking alot.

Default You want something for street/strip?

Why not a set of G-force drag radials? I don't think there is a perfect tire out there that is going to work on the street, track in the wet or dry. That's why you need two sets of wheels

Default UGH <scratching head> .... I thought you were going to say that -->

What is the best street tire?

I'd like a stiffer sidewall b/c I'm on stock suspension. Maybe it would reduce the roll a little?

More concerned about race traction than wet traction.

I don't track the car, other than street racing and the soon to be 1/4 mile (everyone seems to think I have a really good shot at breaking the 13.0 second Stage 1 record).

FYI - thanks a million for your old launch post.

;o)

Default Why not just get the Falken Azenis Sports?

Probably the best street tire you can find that has terrific cold traction because of its soft compound. It also has enough tread to handle water on the road. Bonus: they are dirt cheap. You still have stock wheels? Or at least 17 inch wheels?
