Too tired to STFA - has anyone run 2001.5 software on 2001 (Hitachi MAF, but no ESP)

there are no 2001s without ESP - the only year without ESP is 2000...You can run....
H-box (2001) and M-box (2001.5) software on the same car providing you recode the instrument cluster.

I have an 01 (H box) and have dropped in an M box with no issues at all. Worked great....
I have heard others that have had the same luck and others that have had to re-code.
