Took car in for a Heat Shield rattle and
they said an bracket on the drivers side was broken and they ordered it. The heat shield bracket on the Turbo has been repaired once and I thought that it was broken again. Today I get a call and they say that my manifold (exhaust I assume) is in and I need to make an appointment to get it replaced. I called and have an appointment for Tuesday and will check out what the deal is.
Does anyone have a diagram of the drivers side exhaust manifold and the mounting points for the heat shields? If they are replacing the exhaust manifold, does the engine need to be pulled?
