Default total gauge failure

I had a total gauge failure in my 2001 s4. I have checked all the fuses in the side of the dash and they are fine. Is there anything else that I should check before I look at replacing the whole cluster? Has anyone else had this happen. I know the TT guys deal with this but I can't find any info on the s4, its all TT.

Default In the 4 years that I've been trolling this forum, I've never heard of that. I've got a stocker w/

dead pixels, if you need it. I won't gouge you on price. Email if interested.

Default Stupid question, but have you tried unplugging the cluster and plugging it back in?

And have you checked for codes via VAGCOM?

I don't have a VAG-COM. I haven't tried unplugging the cluster yet. I still have warning lights working but no dials and no illumination. Is there an easy way to get the the back to pull the plugs? What about reseting the ECU?

Does anyone in the JoCo area of KC have a VAG-COM that would check the codes for me?

Default post on your local forum for somebody with a VAG to help you out.

You generally should not have one of these vehicles (particulary if modded) without at least a VAG.

Unplugged and plugged Back in..... no change. Looks like the blue plug works, grey and green don't.

Default It happened to me, but it was at the dealer at the time and still under warranty. They just replaced

the whole cluster.

They did mention that they had never seen that before (2003ish).
