Tranny/clutch (something) died this weekend.
Well, I hate to come on this board and complain; i just thought i'd let everyone know. My poor S4 died. Friday night while I was driving my date home, the shifting felt "off". It was becoming harder and harder to shift gears at lights and on the freeway. I limped the car back to her place and by force of habit, put the thing in neutral when i parked it. When i went to start the thing Saturday morning, it wouldn't go back into gear. No 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. Service has been closed for the long weekend, so tuesday morning i'll deal with it. Anyone have any similar experiences/suggestions for me? Will they provide a loaner car? What's the chance of getting something decent (a4, a6, whatever)? I'm sure it'll be covered under waranty, but i'm still not looking forward to dealing with this situation. Thanks for listening to me vent.

Sorry about your car...
Most dealers will fgive you a rental car... It should be considered a normal warranty issue... Is your car chipped? If so is your dealer chip-friendly? If not they may get on your case about the chip givin your trany too much power, etc. Unless you have a really good dealer, you probably won't get a A4/A6.
