i went to get my car washed and there was a black gallardo there . I started to talk to the owner and he even let me sit inside. Very clean car. I was a little disappointed with the exhaust note...I thought it would be deeper but I guess I'm just too used to my asp. We both left the same time and I started following him. I tried several times to race him but he wouldn't take the bait. We were side by side a lot of the time but he would not race me ( I'm a 6spd stage 2+ GIACX). Motor trend gives the 2004 gallardo a 0-60 of 4.7 and a 1/4 mile of 13.08. My point is that I think I would have a chance against him at only a stage 2. And a stage 3 would do some damage. I believe the 2006 model is a little faster but still has a 1/4 mile around 12.6. But hey , in the end the car is hand made and it's all about the status symbol. That is what you pay for. Beautiful car! I want one.

I'm Stg2+ and I was surprised how well I could keep up with everyone. I would say that you will lose to the gallardo though. His 1/4 might only be 13.08, but on the highway, he's just gonna hurt your feelings. But they you'll remember that your car cost about 1/5 of his, but then you'd see all the bitches flock to his car and then you'd be sad again.
