Default I'm assuming that the "police siren" sound is not normal...
Because my '00 turbos have always been pretty loud, like a siren. Not varing pitch like a "police siren"!?!

Dealer claims it's normal, I disagree. My 2000 had the noise for 32k.

Default One clarification might help
I think a lot of cars - mine included - only make the police siren noise when cold. Perhaps the first question should reflect this with three possible responses: Never, cold only, & always.

I don't think it's normal because some cars are silent and others (like mine) are loud as hell. Why are they loud? What's different?

1st set of turbos, quiet. then boom. new turbos, an episode of cops every drive, boosting strong 9k
