Default two 3rd gear logs.. one kill

I just went out on a stretch of highway to do a couple 3rd gear logs. I did the first log and proceeded to the next light to make a U-turn, about a mile away. While waiting for the left turn light.. a white subaru was behind me revving his engine. Apparently the guy saw me do the first log and thought I was messing with him. I did my U-turn and he turned too, and gunned it by me. I really wanted to get the 2nd return log so I let him go. I got back to the same flat area and recorded my second 60-90mph log. Oh crap.. the white subaru, a pretty good distance ahead in the center lane, hit his brakes to let me catch up. To make things worse (for him), we were going about 50-60mph and I was in third gear. I reached over to secure my laptop about the time he took off and he got about a car length on me. In very short order he fell back and ended up getting behind me in my lane. I guess he figured the race was over so he'd just see if he could hang behind me. I only ran up to around 110mph and let off. The guy have a nod and continued on while I hit an off ramp to turn around. Yea, I think it was a regular wrx, since it didn't have the big wing. I was able to record vag-com numbers.. and emperical data, thanks to the subaru. Damn, I'm glad I went stage 3! I guess the guy didn't notice my "sleeper" APR badge.

Default Those logs won't tell us much...

Timing advance is useless without timing retard, and still, no boost logs.

Default POS vag com keeps saying I'm shareware and won't allow higher blocks

When I first start the program it says I'm using shareware. The ross tech website says it will register when you test the cable. I perform the cable test and get "fully registered". But when I try to log higher blocks it changes and says, "shareware, please register". Anyway, it was around 54 degF.

Default 93 octane, not sure, 53-54F, using stock diverter valves

I'm just trying to see how it's running. I'm planning on buying the APR bipipe and forge(?) diverter valves from ECS at the same time, since they're cheaper that way. They have the pipe on backorder. So I'm stuck with the stock diverter valves and TBB for awhile. Given my past experience with turbo saabs, I assume my stock diverter valves are lifting at a certain boost, have torn diaphrams, or both.

Default IMHO its not worth it....

I have run stock TBB and 710N's for 3 months. I also know simpply has done this on numerous cars. As long as you change out the $10 stock TBB every 6 months, so it does not get hard or worn, then it will not tear. It is actually a pretty good part, it just gets hard and loses its shape due to the heat in the engine compartment if it is left on there for a year+ at a time. For $40 bucks 710N's are pretty dang good, and imho the stock tbb is just fine. No need to spend $350+ on these parts.

I run 18psi daily and 22psi on 100. I havent had a problem. I am thinking on 100 my car should make over 400whp.

Default Did you send them the registration code and get an activation code back from them?

Ross Tech has top notch customer service. E-mail or call them. Having access to only low number blocks sucks mkay.
