Well, it would have been a bit much to ask of course. I didn't even want them to take a look at the rattle coming from both driver side doors when the windows are closed. I figured I'd aim low and give them the easy one first. Nope. Well, at least there were no complaints about me bringing in 0W-30 and requesting my car not be washed. I'll be sure to check how full the engine is.

He asked me to come back in when the buzz occurs so they can take a listen. Guess I'll be there on Monday morning then. Good thing this dealer is only 1.5 blocks from my house.

I also asked them to check the functioning of the HVAC because when the engine gets hot the air out of the vents gets colder. The headliner and dash temp sensors give very different values. Well, they did a 'computer check' and everything was fine. I guess that tells you how good that 'computer check' is.

I also thought I would put a new spin on the fact that my car pulls to the right. So I said that my steering wheel seems biased to the right. "oh that's perfectly normal, differences in tire pressure and the crown of the road cause that". What a load of bull.

Ugh. No wonder that I postpone dealer interaction till the last possible moment. It's depressing.

My car has done this for awhile. Took it in and they proclaimed they didn't hear anything. ( It did quiet down on the way to the dearler. Go figure ). It is now doing it again in a regular fashion.

It is annoying. I've thought of taking an amplifier there next time... ;-)

Yeah, the noise does seem to sorta come and go. Then again, what Leslie said rings true too :-)
