Default Ugh...more bad news....but some good too!

Good first.....got exhaust on today! Sounds great...Dual 2.25 w/ one 2 in 2 out magnaflow muffler...almost identical to the twin 1....so yea, its pretty loud. Not too loud though...a very nice growl. I'll post some clips during the day sometime tomorrow....

The bad news....So the check engine light is coming and going....I dont know what this is at all! The car is hesitating real bad. If i floor it in 3rd, it pulls, then stops, then pulls some more. Almost as if there is a fuel cut...there are no weird noises at all....so i am thinking it isn't the turbos...i would hear that. 2nd gear is just a mess...i cant explain it, it doesnt feel right...very very UNsmooth...I wanna VAG ASAP...its going in for service, but not untill NEXT thursday!

What do i do? Or what can I check without getting my hands on a VAG?

Default Reacts just as if i cut the throttle....BUT.....>

sometimes, like while i am in 2nd for example...it will just boost at 10 PSI....for no reason...and hold there....steady....

For a while, i have been getting a very jumpy (well vibrating) needle....in 2nd and 3rd...dont know if this has anything to do with it....

to answer the question....drops to -20 vac, then returns right back to 16-17 PSi

Default It continues to baffle me that people have these type of problems and keep going WOT.

I can maybe understand continuing to drive it if you don't have a 2nd car, but why keep going WOT!?!?!?

Get the car checked out!

Default well the problom only occurs at WOT...so in trying to diagnose it, i need to bring it about....

Keep in mind...i have no 2nd car...i have no VAG...thats why i went WOT to see what was haooening and then posted about it! I am not out racing and driving like a mad man....

Default Just thought of somthing...APR Throttle Body Alignment...

what exactly does it do? I was curious and ran it a couple days ago...( i cant remember if it was before or after the issues came up)...i made sure to do it while the engine was cold...so no harm there...

what exactly happend whenyou use this program? Could it have anything to do with my cars whacked out behavior?

Default Maybe you should invest in a VAG or find someone that can diagnose your car?

Sorry, have a hard time being sympathetic to people that own a nice car like this but won't spend a couple extra bucks for tools (VAG) that will help you maintain the car properly.
