The ugliest K04 S4 in history vs B6! j/k :-) bww
While you're waiting for the photos to load. We went out to see how Supermario's newly adjusted B5 is running versus my stock B6. Those of you forum readers who remember our first run, pre K04 era, it was pretty much a draw. This time, I was watching tail lights. On the highway that thing pulls like crazy, even in the upper rpm ranges. It wasn't an out right trouncing, but the B5 was defineatly putting some distance between my B6. Even with a slight head start, I was getting realed in and passed. We do have video, but its very poor footage. Supermario will back me up on this. I won't go into details why as I am sure a few of safety addicts would be all over me. Yes I know it was dumb, and no I wont do it again. I even stopped filming because I felt safety was too much of an issue.
I am guessing Supermario is probably around 400hp maybe a little more. In terms of pulling away my best guess is he was accelerating at about 6 feet per second faster. It hard to tell as I was watching what was directly ahead of me more then anything.
The exhaust and engine/turbo sounds are unreal. I miss boost. Supermarios car sounds like a stage 4 s4 in gran turismo 3. The sound of the turbos are wonderful.
Great car to each their own. I still like the B5 just as much as my B6. Enjoy the high res pics.

Well I think you two should go as its pretty obvious who won this round....
Do keep in mind we've known each other since our mid teens, so there is a certain level of trust when doing silly things on the highway.
