Update on cams.
Well. There is no way in hell my problems are cam indexing related.
I just kept up with a z06 on the highway.
if my @#$@$#@ MBC would not taper past 5500 or so i would have been faster too.
I have also confirmed i can make 10psi of boost just reving in neutral.
Adjusted lemmiwinks some more, now idling very well with not as much idle speed added.
+100 idle speed ( could go lower but this is pretty damn smooth)
+10idle torque offset
Idle control bits ON ON (this made a real difference)
+4 degrees timing.
Very drivable, and if it were not for this CRAP ball/spring mbc it would spool faster, and hold boost properly.
Unfortunatly with the duty cycle cranked up from the previous tune with UNadjusted wastegate rods i cant currently use the n75 as it pins my boost gauge past 25psi. (and quickly too)
So jason, i dont think im going to pull the valve covers, its simply my part throttle timing needs a bit of a pickmeup, retune the WOT timing curve, fix the n75 duty cycle, eliminate the last of the secondary 02 sensor codes, and voila.
I think ive got either a bad secondary 02 sensor or a loose connector as i popped a no activity code, first an intermittant, then a hard code.
brand new zoldmans too.. mind you ive got a bad leak only 6inches downstream from that particular sensor so that could do it too.
Car pulls hard to redline, despite boost taper, and clearly my 6800redline is not going to cut it.
IF the cams were misindexed that z06 would have walked me. No question.

a custom unitronic file. so you cant really compare how my car is reacting to the cams
say when looking at bauers car running on an older giac k04 file.
I also do not have a functioning n75 at the moment so my spool and top end boost taper is a mess with this crap MBC.

gotcha. i think the cams change airflow characteristics enough that a retune is really going to be
necessary for the car to really run properly, let alone make the most of them.
from everything i hear, bauer is making silly power even being PIG rich up top
