Default update on detail on my OEM RS4 bumper

as I promise more detail of the fitment to someone of the AWer, and here it is.
First the bumper make my car look low on the front, I will need to raise the front suspension up about 1/4.

As for fitment, since this bumper is a little too deep, the body shop did push it forward a little bit to match up with the car fender and here what it look like when they did that, they also trim the inside little bit to make it look flush in with the fender

I am sure with some heat gun they can make it line up with the fender perfect.

Second problem is wheel liner. The original S4 bumper will have extra sheet to meet up with the wheel liner, however the RS4 only have about a 1/4", this mean it will not meet up with the wheel liner

if you look as the picture careful you will see the gap between the black plastic piece and the bumper fender.

and the last problem, is the gap between the hood and the bumper meet. Also I am not sure if that gap is cause by the RS4 bumper since I had my left head like lose, but here is the picture

All in all I think the bumper look great from the distance more then two feet, got more head turn and alots of complement from other driver, even a nice blondy gal in the Focus with her B/F in side give me this flirt look. The owner from Fomula 113 even ask me to stop and give me some wax and detail stuff for my car...I am a happy ****

https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/921510.phtml</a

that is always going to be the case since the substrate is different (metal vs. plastic)

Default That is not true, a good painter can match up well.

The usual shading difference on bumpers that are painted at shops is, the amount of flex agent added.
