Default Update on headlight problem. It wasn't the lamp or the wiring harness.

It was a blown fuse for the passenger side low beam. Now that I think about it, that's what happened the last time and it was the same light. Not sure what's causing the fuse to blow but at least it's a cheap fix when it does. Could be a faulty ballast causing a high current draw at startup (I notice that both times it blew as soon as I turned the switch on). Or it could be a short somewhere in the wiring. Don't know.

Original Post

I have the same issue. I'm pretty sure it's my ballast. I'm trying to source one now

Default Take your ballast cover off and see if there's any condensation damage inside

I had one fail because my housing had a small leak, water got inside the ballast, and the rest is history.

I think I bought mine from LLTek (cheaper than the dealer) and it was an OEM unit.
