Re: He has the EPL 85mm tapering Maf on the car the 90mm never went on..
Right on a k04 car the Y pipe means nothing but on his car at those revs etc it means a lot... Thats cool you can believe what you wish about the conservative tune as others have seen them and totally agree..

What makes you think I actually want to talk to you?
I can hardly stand reading your posts, let alone listening to you talk. If you want to email me - go right ahead.

honestly...
posting logs or anything on the forum is not going to make your car faster or make you happy with it. more then likely only a small percentage of them helped you get to where you are now anyways so if its not worth it, its not worth it.
at the end of the day this is only the internet, a lot of these people here are good and really are interested in developing the platform and pushing these cars to see what they can do. while others will always hide behind thier computers because they are true losers in life that have nothing better to do then try to make other people look bad for something they couldnt do or figure out.
do what you want and what makes you happy, goodluck on the project, gt's are pretty fun .

lol, true, but there is quite a bit involved.....first disassembly and location of the....
...various maps, plus a means to reflash - you seem to have done a great job sorting out that part of the work.
Second, knowing what to change based on log data, and being able to do so without destroying engines or causing drivability issues - that is the trick that makes a good tuner money.

the funny part is everyone needs to get started somewhere/somehow right? so the tuners back then
im sure were much more clueless than we are now. the worst part is they would just pull "smoke and mirrors" on the customer with a good sales pitch to a clueless customer.
thank god nyet is a superhero and did all this leg work for us, making it much easier.
think about how much we can learn if we openly discuss these tuning ideas?
