Do it!

I've been watching reviews of this shifter for 6 months, and have admittedly beeen a little suspect that anything could help that much. Well no more, it totally transforms the shifting of the car. 1-2 is actually enjoyable.

The "notchiness" feels great, and the "clickity-click" shifts, finally gives the car the proper shifting "heft", that this car deserves.

Thanks to Matt and the UUC crew for staying late and getting my car done (I was your last customer of the day).

Default I'm in kind of a dilema...I Want the 30% but I have the 20/40

I wish I could get the 30% at a discount instead of full price...

Default Can't you just return it to uuc and have them drill a new hole? isn't that all it is?

Default No, you have to pay for a whole new shifter from what I've gathered...sucks. I'd sell someone mine.

But who wants a 20/40 when you can get a 20/30/40?

Default No.... holes and bracket are oriented differently, need all-new kit.

The new 20%-30%-40% kit uses a lever and bracket that are oriented differently from the earlier kits. Whereas a 20% can be upgraded to a 20%-40%, it is not possible to add 30%. That's why an all-new kit is required.

The 20%, 20%-40%, and 20%-30%-40% feel exactly the same as each other when installed at the same % reductions. There is not difference in the feel between the current kit and earlier kits.
