Default UUC Velocimax Exhaust

I was curious as to feedback on the UUC Velocimax exhaust that is currently available. I am cross shopping the Forge/Milltek exhaust, which I do realize is a completly different beast. I look forward to hearing comments because I really want an exhaust!
Thanks,
Stephen

Think of the VM1 as not having an exhaust... They are way different

yeah, like instead of down-pipes, it's like no-pipes.

Default Full dual is the way to go... but be warned... it's loud.

Not as loud as APR's first generation exhaust. If you've heard that .. it's better.

And also... it sounds beautiful.. so being more audible may be a good point.

Default I disagree with this statement. Dual setups are better then collector types if you

have an H PIPE or whatever to help bank to bank scavenging. Well that's opinion so take it as you will..

Default I disagree with your disagreement

or at least, your thoughts on scavenging...

I don't think it will give you anything on the S4. The turbos are right on the exhaust manifold, and if anything, THEY might help with scavenging.

I'm not sure how much overlap there is in the cam timing on the S4, but if there is even a little, the charged air will simply blow all the exhaust gasses out, anyway

If you have true Dual exhaust, an H pipe helps equalize, leaving a better sound and flow...

Default Oh this is gonna turn out to be one of those long threads

First I agree in a turbo application and in most applications Back pressure is BS. Backpressure is a band aid for a poorly tuned header or use of a manifold. Also I agree that the turbos are big back pressure adder, search the archives I've fought this one out before.

However over looking the restriction that turbos make, bank to bank scavenging and pressure equalization is still important. That's why H Pipes, x Pipes and collector designs are pretty. What I meant was for low RPM power, before the wastegate is shut and I'd imagine even at full RPMS, you do want a little vaccum, between pulses, true dual is not cracked up to what people think. The Flow of true dual can't be beat, I make no arguements there but you're giving something up to get it.
