I was sitting at a stoplight when the V1 goes crazy and then quits. It had indicated that laser was in front of me. I proceed with caution when the light turns green and I can't see any cops. About half way down the block it goes off again and I still can't see the bogey. Finally I see the cop off his motorcyle standing behind a large Ryder truck with 2 other motorcyle cops mounted up and ready to meet their ticket quota. I have to admit it was a great hiding place since you couldn't see them until you were passing them. Of course I waved and smiled at them big time and they were looking at me in my just washed and very shiny Laser Red going a hair under the speed limit. The V1 is only 3 days old and probably just paid for itself! KUDOS to Mr. Valentine!

You almost want to hold up the detector and taunt them it makes you so proud. I have been saved at least 3-4 times since owning mine. My wife even checks to see if it is on now.

I'm amazed at it's range on the highway...like a mile or 2 it seems. Well worth the $$ isn't it?
